(TSX-V:NUAG) (OTCQX:NUPMF) (“New Pacific” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the second batch of drill results from its wholly-owned Silver Sand Project in Potosí Department, Bolivia. As announced previously on the Company’s news release dated January 22, 2019, the drilling program commenced in mid-October 2017. A total of 55,010 metres in 195 HQ size diamond core drill holes had been completed by mid-December 2018. The drill program covers an area of approximately 1,600 m long in the north-south direction and up to 800 m wide in the east-west direction. The holes were drilled along northeast 60 degree oriented sections with a 50 m spacing between the sections. Most drill holes are drilled at a dip angle of 45 degrees to penetrate the principal trend of the mineralized structure zones with an average hole length of approximately 285 m. The results for the first batch of 98 drill holes were released on January 22, 2019. This news release discloses the assay results of the remaining 97 holes, of which 96 holes intercepted silver mineralization. These 97 holes were drilled mainly to the north of the section 60 covering an area of approximately 1,100 m long north-south and 800 m wide in the east-west direction. </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-datestamp field-field-article-published-date"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <span class="date-display-single">Friday, February 22nd</span> </div> </div> </div> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 7.5pt; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 7.5pt; margin-left: 0in; text-align: center; line-height: 150%;" align="center"><span style="color: #000000;">&nbsp;<span style="font-size: large;"><strong><span style="line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial', sans-serif;">New Pacific Reports Remaining Drill Results From 2018 Drill Program at Silver Sand, Bolivia</span></strong><span style="line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Lato', sans-serif;"></span></span></span></p><div class="field field-type-text field-field-article-author"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="field-label-inline-first"> Author(s):&nbsp;</div> New Pacific Metals Corp. </div> </div> </div> <p><a href="http://ftp.silverseek.com/commentary/new-pacific-reports-remaining-drill-results-2018-drill-program-silver-sand-bolivia-17585" target="_blank">read more</a></p> Fri, 22 Feb 2019 14:43:13 +0000 admin 17585 at http://ftp.silverseek.com Mr. Butler's Silver Newsletter - Icing on the Cake http://ftp.silverseek.com/commentary/mr-butlers-silver-newsletter-icing-cake-17584 <div class="field field-type-text field-field-article-snippet"> <div class="field-label">Snippet:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Silver analyst Theodore Butler writes a twice weekly newsletter on precious metals. Before going any further note that many of the observations made in the parallel Gold Market update, particularly regarding the dollar and Precious Metals stocks, apply equally to silver so there is no need to repeat them here, which is why the Silver Market update tends to be a lot shorter than the Gold Market update. Starting with the 10-year chart we see that the giant base pattern in silver appears to be taking the form of a Double Bottom, instead of the complex Head-and-Shoulders bottom that we saw in gold. Silver certainly looks weaker than gold here and is still quite a long way from breaking out of its base pattern, and it will take a break above $22 to finally break clear out of it. </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-datestamp field-field-article-published-date"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <span class="date-display-single">Monday, February 18th</span> </div> </div> </div> <p><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: #ffffff; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; display: inline !important; float: none;">The charts for silver look nowhere near as strong as those for gold, but that is normal for this stage in the cycle, as a</span></p><p><a href="http://ftp.silverseek.com/commentary/silver-market-update-double-bottom-10-year-chart-17581" target="_blank">read more</a></p> Mon, 18 Feb 2019 14:15:53 +0000 Clive Maund 17581 at http://ftp.silverseek.com COT Silver Report - February 15, 2019 http://ftp.silverseek.com/commentary/cot-silver-report-february-15-2019-17580 <div class="field field-type-text field-field-article-snippet"> <div class="field-label">Snippet:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> COT Silver Report - February 15, 2019 / Positions as of Tuesday, January 15, 2019 </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-datestamp field-field-article-published-date"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <span class="date-display-single">Friday, February 15th</span> </div> </div> </div> <p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px; overflow-wrap: break-word; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; font-size: small; font-family: Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff;"><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-size: small;"><span style="mar</span></p><p><a href="http://ftp.silverseek.com/commentary/cot-silver-report-february-15-2019-17580" target="_blank">read more</a></p> Fri, 15 Feb 2019 20:32:11 +0000 SilverCOTReport 17580 at http://ftp.silverseek.com A New Silver Issue for the Justice Department http://ftp.silverseek.com/commentary/new-silver-issue-justice-department-17579 <div class="field field-type-text field-field-article-snippet"> <div class="field-label">Snippet:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> It’s now been four months since the US Department of Justice secured a criminal guilty plea from the former trader from JPMorgan for spoofing and manipulating precious metals prices on the COMEX and three months since that plea was unsealed.
