Silver-focused exploration and development company New Pacific Metals, has recently published a Virtual Site Visit Video for the company’s 669.6 million ounces (Ag Eq.) Carangas Silver Project, located in Bolivia.

The site visit video is a great way for investors to get a feel for the large-scale nature of this exciting silver development project.  The video also contains numerous interesting insights from the team working on the ground in the country, including Carangas Project Manager, Cesar Chirinos, Vice President of Exploration, Alex Zhang and Director, Dr Peter Megaw.

The section of the video with the panorama where Cesar and Alex discuss the distribution and orientation at the West and East Domes and Central Valley and then the six chargeability anomalies that are exploration targets surrounding the resource base helps to crystalize what an extensive area this project covers.

Peter Megaw, Director of New Pacific Metals, then gives an outline of the historic mining activities in the area, undertaken by the Spanish during colonial times, and how New Pacific made its discovery and then began to advance the project, as well as giving his view on what the project could look like in the future.

Alex then takes over the tour, as we move to the A2 changeability anomaly, located 6 km east of the resource base. At the A2 anomaly, the company plans to drill test this area for the first time with an 800-meter-deep hole.

New Pacific’s CEO, Andrew Williams, then gives an overview of mining in Bolivia and the extensive regional infrastructure that can be used by the company as it moves towards production. Andrew also gives a detailed breakdown of the company's strong financial position and how it plans to advance the project into 2024.

From being in the field, the tour heads on to the core shack for a geological walkthrough hosted by Alex and Peter. The team shows us what the rocks of Carangas look like and what the minerals of economic interest look like in the core, great for anyone looking for a detailed understanding of the deposit.

This type of detailed video gives investors a huge amount of information in a visually attractive and digestible form. I am sure we will see many more of these in the future.
