First Majestic to List on the Mexican Stock Exchange

First Majestic Silver Corp. (FR.TO) (AG) (the "Company" or "First Majestic") is pleased to announce that its common shares have been authorized for listing on the Mexican Stock Exchange ("BMV"). The Company expects the shares to begin trading on the BMV on Monday, August 25, 2014 under the trading symbol "AG". The Company will retain its primary listings on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange under the trading symbols "FR" and "AG", respectively.

July 23: Gold and Silver End Slightly Lower

Gold edged up to $1311.11 at about 8:30AM EST before it chopped back down to $1303.16 by early afternoon in New York, but it then bounced back higher into the close and ended with a loss of just 0.12%. Silver spiked up to $21.045 before it dropped down to $20.896 and then also rebounded, but it still ended with a loss of 0.1%.

The gold price closed at $1,312.90 up $2.40 on Monday in New York. In Asia and early London, prices fell back to $1,306. The gold price was Fixed at $1,307 down $5.75 and in the euro at €969.441 down €1.313, while the euro was slightly weaker at $1.3482 down nearly half a cent. Ahead of New York’s opening, gold was trading at $1,306.60 and in the euro at €969.22.
