This Amazing Silver Trend Will Make Short Term Price Movements Irrelevant

May 09, 2016

While precious metals investors are concerned about the short-term price movements in silver, the real focus should be on this amazing silver market trend. When the silver market data finally came out in the new 2016 World Silver Survey (released May 5th), it really surprised me. And, it takes a lot to surprise me.

Is Gold more Important than Silver?

There is no logical reason for this, as my upbringing was about as “middle of the middle” as it could be. However, all the stories, movies, and lectures that have stood with me throughout my life have been those where the HEART was the significant theme. Where the underrated, or unexpected, or “underdog”, rose above adversity to win! To me the overall theme is that heart is greater than intelligence, training, coaching, and any other metric that goes through the human psyche.

The Historic Dow Jones-Silver Ratio Points To $300 Silver

May 05, 2016

That’s correct. Going by the historic Dow Jones-Silver ratio, it points to $300 silver. This may seem outlandish or a play on hype, but it isn’t. While many precious metals analysts have forecasted high three-digit silver prices, I didn’t pay much attention to them. However, after I looked over all the data, $300 silver is not a crazy figure at all.

Stand Aside JP Morgan, A New Player In The Silver Market Has Arrived

May 03, 2016

The days of JP Morgan controlling the silver market may be numbered as a new player in the silver market has arrived. For the past several years, JP Morgan held the most silver on a public exchange in the world. While the LBMA may hold (or did hold) more silver, their stockpiles are not made public. Regardless, JP Morgan held the most silver at nearly 74 million oz (Moz) in its warehouse, up until recently.

Silver Market Update - Meltup Mode?

May 01, 2016

The good news for the longer-term is that this action has at last broken it out from its long-term downtrend, but as we can see on the 6-year chart, it is now approaching a zone of strong resistance in the $18.50 - $19.50 zone, which, should it continue higher over the near-term, should call a halt to the advance. Should the dollar break down soon from its potential top, however, then both gold and silver could go into meltup mode, in which case silver could break smash through this resistance…

SILVER & SILVER STOCKS: Top Performing Assets In 2016

May 01, 2016

The interesting thing about the gains in these primary silver stocks is that they were not based upon their low cost or productivity per say. For example, Great Panther is one of the highest cost producers in the group last year, based on my analysis, but enjoyed the second best performance. Moreover, Alexco Resources shut down their only operating silver mine back at the end of 2013, but their stock price had the third best performance jumping 253%.

Silver Miners Strong in Grim Q4

The silver miners showed impressive fundamental strength during 2015’s grim fourth quarter. That was the worst silver suffered in many years, a perfect-storm trough with major secular lows fueling extreme bearish sentiment. Traders feared this entire industry faced an existential threat, so they fled in terror from silver stocks. But silver miners’ strong operational performances aced that severe trial with flying colors.

THE REAL REASON TO INVEST IN SILVER… It’s The Fundamentals

April 28, 2016

The best reason to own silver is based upon underlying market fundamentals. However, most of the markets today aren’t being valued by fundamentals, but rather on Fed and Central Bank interventions. This has destroyed the ability for investors and markets to properly value most assets.
