I speak with the CEO of BP Silver, Tim Shearcroft, after the company released its first assays from the first ever drill program on the Cosuño project.
The initial results show that the Lithocap is indeed mineralized, a positive indication that a much larger system exists below.
"The nearest neighbour to Cosuño, in a similar geological setting, the Pulacayo deposit, has a large lithocap that is barren and conceals a major vein that produced 640 million ounces of silver and 200,000 tons each of lead and zinc."
