- Record 2013 production: 2.5 million ounces of silver and 19,031 ounces of gold
The San Jose mine was commissioned in July 2011 and began commercial production in September 2011 at a rate of 1,000 tonnes per day. In
September of 2013, the mill was expanded from 1,150 to 1,800 tpd on-time and on-budget. In April 2014, the mill was expanded to 2,000 tpd without incurring in additional capital investments. Engineering studies are being conducted to assess the economic robustness of a potential expansion to 3,000 tpd.
Moving forward, the focus is to incorporate the high-grade silver-gold Trinidad North discovery into San Jose's production blend by the first quarter of 2015.
