Kootenay Drills 2+ Kilos of Silver per Tonne Over 1.5 Meters, Completes 2023 Program, What's Next?

The President and CEO of Kootenay Silver Inc., James McDonald, joins GoldSeek TV to discuss the final drill results from the Columba High Grade Silver project.

Targeting the "D vein", the 2023 drill program successfully hit on all 12 of 12 drill holes, further demonstrating the company's view of a well-mineralized, high-grade silver structure.

After 2023's successful drill campaign, we talk about what is next for 2024, including what the coming drill program may look like and the maiden resource expected in later 2024!

Kootenay Silver Completes 2023 Program with 2,123 gpt Silver Over 1.54 Meters Within 501 gpt Silver Over 10.26 Meters at Columba High Grade Silver Project:

Kootenay’s President & CEO, James McDonald states,

“This drill program has returned excellent results expanding on the size of high-grade D Vein silver mineralization. The zone is open in both strike directions and to depth exhibiting excellent potential for further expansion.

It is very exciting to think of the potential when two of our easternmost holes leave the zone wide open with high grade holes of 501 and 532 gpt silver over true widths about 4 to 5 meters within fat intervals of 228 gpt and 338 gpt silver over true widths around 12 to 9 meters respectively.”

McDonald explains further:

"Over 2 kilos, that's a real nice hit within a broader interval there. These are two holes, the last two holes. And they're important because they are within the silver zone itself. They are the easternmost holes on the D Vein, so it leaves it wide open, long straight in that direction: eastward - and for several hundred meters away, it looks like it's intersecting another called the Vein B (B like Bob) and very lightly drilled, that particular vein. But it's got intercepts like 4.6 meters of 1200 grams per ton of silver. So it shows great promise as well."
